ok...its on...i talked with the USPS this afternoon n they want BAST ALPHA SQUAD to troop on the 25th of May, Friday, at 11am to 12pm, in downtown New Orleans USPS main post office. i tried to work another day with them but they feel there should be a presence on the weekend of the SW stamp promotion...plus they want FRIDAY since saturday will have no customers. they will be calling the local news station to get media coverage.
i did tell them that the 25th of may will be somewhat bad since many will be going CELEBRATIONS IV...so please let me know who can troop this event on the 25th of May. i wont be here since ill be los angeles for CIV.
but....mark your calendar for the 25th of may...who can make it...i need to give her names by next friday.

I can't commit to this because I work on Fridays and I have to see if I can take 2-3 hours off in the middle of the day.
Saturdays they do have customers because they are open and till 12:00 noon so their suggested time would work. Have you ever gone to a post office and they weren't busy, especially a main post office?

yea...i told her that SATURDAY would be better since many of us work during the WEEKDAY...but she said the USPS wants us there on FRIDAY to get "better media coverage" and "customer exposure" during the middle of day when they get tons of customers.
but thanks on those who can/might be able to go. deadline again is next friday. this will be great exposure for BAST ALPHA for the local community. :)

I cant make it, I'll be at work, they just swapped my work week. Anything I am off for I will definately attend, its just been really hectic at work recently and we are extremely shorthanded so I have been having to cover extra time for people. Sorry maybe next time.

I still may be able to make it, I need to request days off two weeks in advance and I may be able to swing this, sorry for the confusion but I started thinking
that if most of the squad is living it up at C4 that us that don't go should make an effort to do this troop, it would be some awsome FREE promotions for the squad. I'll keep ya posted.

yea...if we can a DARTH VADER n couple of TKs or others that would be kewl. BAST ALPHA will definitely shine after this. :)
