Star Wars Weekends and Star Tours May 20-22

If your costume is deemed unacceptable you will be asked to sit out the parade and asked not to return until the costume issue is corrected. You will stand by the hanger/garage area until the parade’s end, and you will not receive your complimentary tickets. All costumes should be visually inspected prior to your arrival at Disney Hollywood Studios. while the weapon issue is not spelled out in the rather lengthy requirements section we have photos taken yesterday afternoon with John and his rifle.

They may want the blaster. If they do, we take the pictures again. It is still better than being rejected. The third post in the thread reads - "With respect to the proposed Star Tours opening event, we will likely use the rules for SWW for this event as well. Main thing is if you can make it, send your info to the addy in the second post and we'll worry about photos and such later." There may be another update with additional instructions forthcoming. He responded that he wants the pictures so that is why I sent them to him.
