AWSOME!
Thanks for the link bro.
I have a stupid question, can you play a Blue Ray disk on a
plain old dvd player?
I have a high def dvr and a high def tv so can I play that type of disk?
I want all the extra's and from what I read, that's the only way to get all the
extra goodies, or was I reading it wrong?

No..you need a bluray player to play a bluray disc. Cheapest bluray players out right now are about $250-$300. Although it wouldn't be bad to buy the disc and wait for prices to come down.

That sucks because I don't have the cash for that right now.
Yah I seen that too, multiple covers from different stores.
I wonder how many people will accually buy all three?

Not me! I will get one of the two disk sets and that is it. I will avoid BR until it is cheaper and the shelf life(five years or less depending on manufacturer) problem is fixed. I would prefer my DVD to last more than five years.

I think the five years they are referring to is Samsung saying Bluray has five years left before another technology (such as high def downloads or HD flash) catches on with the public. I don't necessarily agree. I think bluray will be around for a good while and coexist with standard dvds. Prices are coming down and probably within the next five years, because the market is being flooded with HD technology (from bluray equipped laptops, PS3 and players), you'll be able to buy a bluray player for under $50.
Back to the CW discs...I'll probably buy the Best Buy 2 disc tin set (for the kids) and the Target bluray version for when I eventually get that blu ray player.

Your correct... "Samsung have said that they believe that within 5 years the Blu-ray format will be replaced by a different technology."
AS far as it holding up... "Blu-ray media like all commercial optical media will have a 50+year shelf life. The media format can be either MO or WORM. A long shelf life with WORM capabilities make this media perfect for archiving of mandatory compliant data, Medical Images, Video, Document Imaging and number of other near line archival uses. Because of Blu-ray random access capabilities it is also better suited for small files than our tape technology libraries"

Thanks Eric and Ryan, now I understand how the "five year" talk got started.
I can wait for any of the HD format to come down in price. DVD still looks good to me.

The extras are pretty cool. Clone Wars the Untold Stories sets up the tv show pretty well. Shows some scenes from future episodes (there are some really good looking episodes coming up as well) and explains more about the Clone Wars.
Voices of...is about the voice actors and how they do an episode. Pretty neat to see the actors playing their roles with a split screen of the animation. Puts a face to a voice.
A new score actually made me appreciate the new music a little more. I really wasn't too crazy about the new score (John Williams will always be my favorite) but now, I see what they were trying to do and I'm liking it more.
Concept art is neat if you like to see some of the initial drawings of the characters.
Deleted scences were cool. I liked the Rancor and wish they could have fit it somwhere in the movie.
All in all, I'd give it :2thumbs: . Hope they release Season One with a lot of extras like this next year.
