Welcome to the 2010 Peaks and Creeks DGC Bag Tag Season
the following rules have been set up in order to keep the tags fun and
challenging to play .If for any reason you cannot abide by the rules
please do not obtain a tag. Pretty simple get-m-play-m

1.Tags can be played anytime you wish to play them ,and must be in play if
others in your group are in a tag match.

2.Tags must be put in play at least once a month with other club members.

3.Any tag changes must be recorded on our website by the following day of
the match.

4.You must have your tag avaliable for exchange before putting it in play.

Challenge Rule

Since the whole spirit of bag tags is to have good competition and some
bragging rights Tags cannot be put out of play. So this year we will have a challenge rule,
Its pretty simple,,, you may challenge only two positions.,, Example,,Tag 3 challenges tag 2 or 1.
the person you are challenging gets to name the course and the time of
play(must be within 2 weeks) and can also determine the format of the round,,IE, stroke, match, or stableford,,,At least 9 holes must be played and the
results must be posted.,, If for any reason the challenge is not met by the
challenger they loose their privilege to challenge again for two weeks. If the
person who is being challenged can not or will not play within two weeks
they must swap tags with the challenger

Courses for challenges are to be kept in Lynchburg and surrounding
counties

This is a base set of rules for our tags , as the year moves forward these rules may evolve. Our goal is to keep the tags local so they will be kept in play,,and the main thing is to have fun.
