A little bit behind on this news but I just read it in the latest Style1900 and there is coverage on the Stickley site.

A tip of the hat to the man who really helped to keep the Stickley name in the forefront of the modern Arts & Crafts lifestyle. _________________

I am sorry to hear of his passing. He took a big chance on buying the old Stickley factory and show room in Manilus, NY some 20 years ago.
I tried to read your news but the site is down or gone. Could you copy that into the forum?
The Audi's really did start the stampede for Arts and Crafts. Once the infamous dinning buffet was purchased for big bucks by Barbara S., Alfred Audi and his wife decided to re-issue the old Stickely line. They didn't have very much at first and the fabric was horrible. But that got better over time as everyone began to understand want fabric patterns worked on mission.
My husband and I used to go over to the factory show room on weekends and just hang around admiring the mission oak. We liked the lines, the stains and the simple, straight forward designs. Since we couldn't afford the new Stickley, we began to collect some generic antique mission. That's how we ended up with a house full of mission antiques.
We used to feed the swans after the floor room/factory closed. I think that they have moved since we lived in Syracuse.
Bev.
Here is an obit that I found on the web. It says it all:
