BabelCon & SOD Halloween Party

Party begins at 6pm with BBQ food and a coffin full of beer. At 7pm begins the first of 3 movies in the Outdoor Movie Theater, starting with "Them!" a classic 50s movie about radiation and giant ants; followed at 8:30 pm by "Frailty" about a serial killer hunting demons "disguised as humans"; and finally, at 10pm, its "Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon" about a psycho-killer (in the style of Micheal Myers) who hires a film crew to follow him on his night of terror. This year's drive-in movie theater lineup: Them! Atomic tests in New Mexico cause common ants to mutate into giant man-eating monsters that threaten civilization. Kudos for the creepiest monster sound ever! I have some of these in my backyard. Try Raid Granules. Frailty Matthew McConaughey confesses that his father was a serial killer who professed angels instructed him to destroy demons "disguised as humans". At least someone is fighting the good fight. Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon A psycho slasher, in the style of Micheal Myers, gives a film crew exclusive access to his life, as he plans his yearly night of terror. We had an unbelievable turnout this year, a cumulative 30+ attendees. People came from all over to be there, including one lady from Lake Charles. Wow! Best... Halloween party... EVER!
