We've established that there's no way around the restrictions on posting images and URLs by new members; is there also no way to have a time stamp on postings that at least represents a time zone in the western hemisphere?

Good question. I have been trying to figure out how to have time stamps on other peoples post that correspond to my time zone. For example, Ray's post says 4:30 TODAY and right now my clock says 12:54. He posted from the future! Or from Europe.

Luke,

You're right with your second guess. If you look on the right between the postings and the quick reply box you'll see "All times are GMT." That's Greenwich Mean Time. We're all posting from England.

Hmmm, there is a GMT time code in each person's individual profile to set. Mine's at GMT -5, although I notice there is no setting for daylight savings adjustment.

Yes, you have to adjust if for yourself in your 'Profile' section.

Here's a link with the respective zones from GMT

Actually I just looked and mine reflects what I changed in my profile - It says, " All times are GMT - 4 hours". But they're not... unless, like I said, Ray posted from the future.

So, when I post a message, it has the correct time on it, but some other posts have very odd times...like, say, the future.
