I recieved the following Email. Eric can you look into enabling any accounts that have been set up recently?
Looks like a great time to be had here!
My wife and I are 501st members from the new england garrison and we will be
visiting new orleans for the xmas holiday ( wife's family live there ). And
we were wondering if anyone in your group would want to get together. The
wife has been trying to get onto your forums for awhile without success and
we are hoping that we could work something out. We have trooped and hung out
with you all before and had a BLAST. Please contact me or my wife Krista

coming down for mardi gras.

We're flying in on christmas day (sat) and we leave on wed. I had been trying to get through to see if people would want to meet up either that Sunday night Dec 26 or tuesday night Dec 28 at the CafeduMonde on Vets.. (I assuming no one wants to meet up during a saints game mon).
Is anyone up for post-holiday beignets?

If I lived in NO I would be more than happy to meet with you guys but I am in Baton Rouge and have small kids so I will be with them during the holidays. I am sorry that I won't be able to meet you guys. If I can break free or if my wife decides she wants to head that way, maybe I can catch up with you guys. Shoot me a PM with some contact info and we will see what we can do. I hope you enjoy your visit down here. It has got to be at least a little warmer than up there, lol.
BTW - where in NO does the wife's family live? My wife is from Metarie, just off the Causeway.

Yep, I'm pretty sure that's the one I'm thinking of. It used to have a big painted fish inside... on the River side of Vets.
I grew up in what is now called Old Jefferson, not too far from Haydels.
Mmmmmmmmmm haydels...... (no hatin' on the Haydels, y'all Gambino/Randazzo fans! ;) 
Is there any thoughts if sunday night (26th) or tues (28th) is easier for travelling folks? We're flexible and bendy!

as of right now, it looks like we may be coming in Sunday around lunch. Not sure how late we will be there with our small children but I may be able to at least get away for a few hours to meet up with you guys. I will know more as Sunday gets closer and the wife figures out what she wants to do, lol.

Would 6:30pm be okay for folks that are available to come out on Sunday night? We'll coming back from the northshore that afternoon, and hopefully it's still early enough for anyone wanting to watch football but late enough to have had dinner beforehand.

Awesome! Sean and I look forward to seeing anyone that is able to come. We'll wear something with a 501st/Star Wars so you can find us easily. (Or Sean will be tin his Patriots jersey... covered in powdered sugar....) 
I'm not sure if there's a separate website for the Rebel Legion, all are welcome to come as they are able! Feel free to pass the word.
I'm sure Sean will love to talk about Jabba, lessons learned, etc. He's also a part of the Watch City Armory and can talk about making clone armour, or resin mold casting. I'm making a Luminara (animated version) and am working on upgrading my lekku from Oola-la. We're happy to just hang out as well!!
