i tend to use trail shoes or hiking shoes. if i am playing at peaks view park, they have concrete tees, and just regular shoes work fine there unless it is muddy or icy. _________________ those cedars are really getting old |

i usually use some cheap starbury's from steve and barry's. cheap high top basketball shoes... good support for the ankles.
indoor track shoes work well, too |

it is really just a matter of what is comfortable for you and your feet. my brother usually just wears sandals. daniel sometimes wears cleats. _________________ those cedars are really getting old |

Alright, I am going to bed now and hopefully I can sleep through the rest of the shift. Talk to you guys later. Scott. |

| I vote Merrell also. I'm on my second pair now and have a third pair at home waiting for this pair to wear out. |

My last 3 pairs of Merrels went bad within one year. Twice I had lace rivots come out and one time the sole split the entire legnth of the shoe. Fortunately, the retailers I bought them from had a 1 year return policy so in essence I only bought one pair. The last pair I returned I got the Nike Gore-tex trail boots instead, and have had no issues with them yet. They seem to be a better quailty shoe than the Merrels I had previoulsy, plus seem to be alot more comfortable than the Merrels.
I am 6' tall and just a sandwhich shy of 230, so I am a little bit rough on my footwear needless to say. I like lightweight, gore-tex boots in general, as I need a high-top shoe due to havng horrible ankles, and the gore-tex while waterproofing, also keeps the toes nice and toasty in the winter months without having to go crazy with the wool socks. _________________ http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=2523 |

Thats solid input Jeff, I need some winter DG footwear. You got me by a few pounds, but my slide step eats up the right sides of both my shoes. Still, I would wear my merrells to bed they are so comfy. KP _________________ Discraft guys drive nice trucks. |

Got a pair of the Bite Shoes Boots and will be testing them thoroughly over the next few months. One Round in they seem comfy and warm, didn't get my feet wet when I stepped in the stream to recover an errant disc. So far so good, good lacing system, ankle support and Vibram soles.
Right now on sale at www.gottagogottathrow.com and their website www.biteshoes.com
