I have not purchased it but I am tempted, can any one ID it? The shop wants 145.00 for it, It has been stripped but it is clean and well done, no signs of paint or re-glueing.

Looks J.M. Young style to me but no catalog match. Possibly a late JMY chair, given the colour and lack of pegs ??? _________________

There is a reason that chair is $145. I would check the drop-in cushion to see if it's original. If you had to pay for a replacement box cushion along with new leather, the chair would end up costing you more than it's worth.
I do like the slight "paddle" to the arms. |
