Shiny Council Forum Rules

I. Users will be respectful to other users at all times.
A. Flaming, insults, and harassment will not be tolerated.
B. Impersonating other users by the use of socks or any other means will not be tolerated. This includes impersonating users from the JC or other message boards.
C. Users may not post pictures of other users without that user's permission.
D. Encouragement of illegal activity will not be tolerated.
E. These rules apply not only to posts, but to avatars, profiles, sigs, etc.

II. Users will not post inappropriate material.
A. Nudity and sexually explicit images will not be tolerated. Except in Designanted aeras
B. Swearing will not be tolerated, and must be starred out. Except in Desiganated areas.
C. Racial/Religious/Cultural bigotry will not be tolerated.
D. Explicit references to drugs or alcohol will not be tolerated.
E. These rules apply not only to posts, but to avatars, profiles, sigs, etc.

III. Users will not troll our boards.
A. Adverspamming and solicitation will not be tolerated. You may put links in your profile or sig.
B. There is no thread per day limit, but flooding our boards with senseless topics within a short period of time will not be tolerated.

IV. Users who violate these rules will be banned.
A. Bans will be length appropriate to the severity of the infraction.
B. The administration will moderate subjectively, but fairly.
C. Posting with a sock while banned will extend the duration of your ban, and your socks will be banned.

These rules are basic guide lines to be smart posters. We ask if any user feels they are being harassed or flammed by another member let us know first. Because we will not know unless you alert us of the problems.
