Since I am pressed for time, I spoke with Josh and he said that he would make the schedule for the activities at the event. He will make the list of who will be doing what activity at what time. My wife and I are going to be organizing the Auction / Raffle items, and decide what will be auctioned off and what will be raffled off. I also spoke with Keith today, and he is working on the t-shirts for the event. I am ordering 100 shirts in various sizes for the helpers at this event. The cost of the shirts is $6.00 a shirt, which comes out to around $600.00. I went around to several businesses today and got the $600.00 donated for the event, so no one will have to pay for their shirts. We should have plenty of shirts for the members, their wranglers and any other helpers we may have helping out with the event. The end of the week is swiftly coming, so make sure your armor is polished up and ready...lol
We will have plenty of room to change. There is even a sliding partition between the rooms so the girls can have some privacy while getting ready. The rooms are air conditioned, but the doors do not have locks to keep people out. I will try and have someone monitor the rooms to keep onlookers out while we are getting dressed and to watch our stuff when we are busy trooping. There is plenty of room for everyone. I can't wait for Sunday...lol

By the way the design on the front of the shirt will have the below picture on the top left chest area.
And the below picture on the back of the shirt.

Well, it looks like my replacement Biker armor won't be in by Sunday, so I'll be wearing the dreadfully uncomfortable Blackhole Stormtrooper, which is built for someone about seven inches shorter than me...so lets just say it now, "Aren't you a little tall for a stormtrooper"....

WOW!! Rodney, you're setting the bar pretty high for the rest of us with troop ideas. Great job. Your level of dedication to this event shows and I'm sure its going to be a HUGE SUCCESS!! Can't wait for the 29th. Polishing my armor to look shiny for the group photo.

Nice. I was going to ask if we were going to have real security. God only knows how large of a crowd this is going to bring.

Impressive... Rodney you ROCK!!!
Oh if you could, I will most likely not be wearing the gunner helmet this week. The Navy Trooper will be my primary with the Imperial Crewman suit for when I play laser tag..
I can't wait for this Sunday!!

I know, I was just giving you a hard time. Thanks for the compliments though. I have been working really hard trying to put this event together. As far as the t-shirts go, I want to make sure everyone who will be working and our members get a shirt first before we try and sell any. After everyone has a shirt, then we can sell the rest of them for $5 to $10 each and donate the money to the event. I love it when a plan comes together.

I dig the shirt idea :) Great job bro!
So what's the location/directions?
Also I'll be bringing my daughter and wife
along to help out.
What is the official time the event starts and finishes
and what time should we try and get there to help out?

[What direction are you coming from across the causeway?
The time is 12:00 to 7.00
I know we should be there by 10:00 or 10:30 (depending if I can get everyone up).. I know Rodney posted a few pages back the time he was getting there.
Our daughters will get to hang out again!!

1st: To get to Funland, you need to go across the Causeway and take the Madisonville exit ramp on to West Causeway Approach. Go about 1/2 mile to just before the third light (Skipper Drive / MHS) and look to the right. Funland is just before the light.
2nd: The event starts at 12pm, but I wanted the members to be there no later than 11am. I will be there earlier, to help John with setting everything up for the event.
3rd: I spoke with a reporter from ABC Channel 26 News about an hour ago, and she said that she wants to do an interview with us this Friday at 1pm at Funland. She would like for us to be in costume for the interview. Anyone interested in coming for the interview, please call me or e-mail me and let me know. Thanks! I also spoke with a reporter from the St. Tammany Banner, and he said that our news article should be in the paper this Friday. If the article is in the paper on Friday, I will posted a copy of it on here.
