Thanks, Karrie!~ it's kinda hard to throw bead when you're walking....there's no place to carry them, but they can be thrown from the truck, or we can get a handful at a time from the truck.
Jaclyn, I hope you can work things out. It's should be a fun parade.

It actually looks like I'll be able to make the parade! YAY! The rest of the evening's events and our participation in them will hinge on whether the hubby can get off work on sunday though.

its calling for rain on Saturday afternoon and the rain is bringing a cold front. i hope the parade doesn't get rained out again just like last year.
Ive escaped getting walking pneumonia this season so far, and i will not be marching in the cold and rain, if that comes to pass, but im sure they would cancel us marching in it if that happens like last year.
We will just have to keep a close eye on the weather.

Last year the rain broke long enough in the afternoon for them to run the parade on dry ground without rain. It rained in the morning and later that night. We opted to drop out of the parade because of the possibility of rain. Yes, we will need to keep a close eye on the rain. And plan to dress warmly under the costumes.

We will be bringing the Imperial Trooper Shuttle fo transport back to the rally point.
I spoke with John about the banner, and he has magnetic signs.
Also, if we are rained out on this, then we can start the party that much sooner.

Im going to be in my Juno Eclipse for the parade, as i dont have my scout helmet padded on the inside like i wanted, and i need to work on that, but i dont have time before tomorrow to do so, ive just been way too busy trying to get xmas shopping done and working a full time job. Hopefully i will get the helmet the way i want it for one of the parades, i will wear my scout for a cold parade

Tim is not able to attend as Vader. But, he did generously offer his costume for someone that would fit it and take care of it.
Tim is 6'0" 230lbs, it would work for someone up to 6'4". It will be too big for anyone shorter or smaller than Tim.
Please PM him to work out the details. Tim lives in Slidell.

It's a shame I have transportation issues because I fit that bill perfectly.
I should be in BR and at the rally point well before the beginning of the parade as I should still be meeting Karen at the Greyhound terminal after 2 PM. I'll be wrangling as I have yet to complete my Stealth Scout persona. I'm really looking forward to this as it'll be my first wrangle. I'll be keeping my eye on the forum as well just in case the weather takes a turn for the worst and we have to cancel.
