Baton Rouge Christmas Parade 12/11/10 5:30pm UPDATE!!!!

They are looking forward to us being in the parade. I've already paid the registration fee of $75.00 I'm asking each person that participates to split the cost of registration if at all possible. If we have 15 people that will break down to only $5 each. Please help with this by sending a gift to my paypal account. karenprays@msn.com The parade rolls from the River Center at 5:30 PM They estimate it will take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to ride through the parade route. I will post what time we need to be there ready to go after I attend the safety meeting on 12/3 I don't know who has the banner, but, maybe we can get it ready to be carried in the front of our group so people know who we are. Whoever has the banner please contact me so we can be sure someone can bring it for the parade. The parade route begins at the River Center and ends at the LA State Capitol. It's not a long parade. They REQUIRE we have 6 handlers to walk along with us. Please arrive no later than 3:30-4:00. I will be there at 3:00 to check us in and get our place in the parade line up. Take the Government exit off I-110. Turn left on St. Louis Ave. The parade line up is in the parking lot across the street from the 13th Gate building and Past Time restaurant, at the corner of South and St. Louis. Please park near the River Center or in the parking garage behind the RC OR park near the State Capitol where the parade ends. We can figure out how to get everyone back from the end of the parade like we do for the mardi Gras parades. Here's the sign up list. Is anyone else interested? 1. Karen 2. Brian--paid 3. Gotham 4. However, this isn't a cannon event so you could wear the costume you wore to the zoo. There's no rush on everyone else paying. We still have a couple weeks. And thanks for those volunteering to wrangle! If anyone else wants to join us for the parade there is plenty of time and space for more troopers. We were really hoping to have 15-20 troopers.
