I used to check out the net for endless game-play and found out about SimCity 3000 from my uni friends. It was a game where you create cities & watch them grow. Control all the city's development and especially healthcare, crime & education.
It is really a good game - you get to demolish & build skyscrapers or even do business with neighboring cities (like get them to sell trash vice versa, or water, electricity). After a while, in early 2000 was when Sims 1 was released.
Seven EPs later of Sims 1, came SimCity 4000 - where they enhanced the game with larger cities, 3D views (fantastic) & more game-play options building roads & railway tracks for the industrial products to shipped out of town etc. Began playing SimCity 4000 like there's no tomorrow.
Expansion pack - Rush Hour. Really cool!! You get to fly a Helicopter, drive a police car, become an ambulance chaser etc More transportation options, new roads, avenues, highways, toll booths, ferry ports etc
Played the game like I didn't have to go to work!
Then, came the Sims2 - installed the Sims2 - never left the house (except to work) & right before Uni EP came out, my hardisk FAILED.
Went and bought a new PC and re-installed the games (sheesh!!!)
Then NL came out - took medical leave, took 10 days leave etc just to keep playing!!
All this while I just keep interchanging SimCity & the Sims 2 !! Hopefully my PC doesn't die on me!!
Jeez like I have 72 hours in a day!!

Lol Max.
I have played SimCity since the very first one ever came out...THAT was soooo much fun for me...and it is NOTHING like they are now! LOL
I loved 3000...had the Unlimited edition. Bought 4000 when it came out, but the computer I had couldn't handle it too well...Those DANG parades..whenever they happend my computer would freeze and go slower than the slow bug in TS2. Finally just got rid of it because neither my hubby or I could really enjoy it too much.
now I have the sims, and haven't played any other PC game since (tho X-box has still crept in every now and then lol)

| yeah, I use to love Sim City and I would love making little cities in it. I didn't get any of the newer ones though because I was too busy with legos when I was younger. I still have thousands of them. |

| Yeah, I really don't have time to play the sims that much either. I decided to cancel my plans for a new series (for now) and start planning a new lot when I have the time (probably next month). |
