They are looking for 4-6 Star Wars characters. Appearances will be Saturday, September 25 during a two hour window between 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. They are planning to make a $300 donation per store appearance. Please sound off if you're interested in attending. Some stores have invited the 501 st Legion and the Rebel Legion to come into the stores during the weekend launch. Also being launched at the same time are the costumes of Han Solo, Princess Leia, and C3-P0. Red and Blue lightsabers can be bought as accesories. AND most stores already carry the costumes of Darth Vader, Jedi(Blue lightsaber), Clone Trooper, Anakin Skywalker(The Clone Wars outfit), and Star Wars PJs& Slippers.. This request is straight from Mary Franklin of LFL. The Build-A-Bear workshops stores are doing a nationwide event on September 25th. They are looking for Star Wars characters, classic, but Clone Wars would be OK, to appear in the store listed, pose for pictures with kids, and generally make the day a real event. My feeling is that four to six characters per store would make it feel like a good event for them, but they would take more. They have a 'Darth Vader' coming on the 24th (no clue who or what type of gear) but nothing planned for the 25th. However, they said the would love to have some of us there for the 25th if anyone is interested in 'working' that event. Just putting it out there. Peronally, I am up for either. CUTE! :) I did see the poster for the "new" bears...Han Solo, Princess Leia and C3P0. I want to get a Princess Leia for my niece. :) _________________
