Labor Day MDA Telethon 9/6/2010

She asked if any of us could attend the MDA telethon being held next Monday September 6th, 2010 at the Galaria in Metairie. She wants us there for the party which will be held in the lobby from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (2 hours) and the theme of the party is "Galaxy of the Stars". Channel 38 or 26, which ever one is in the building, will be covering the event. A changing room will be provided and she suggested to park across the street where there is a free parking lot. If you are unfamilair with the Galaria it's the big silver glass building off of I-10 and Causway Blvd. I will be there and if anyone is interested in joining me sound off! 1. David (TB) 2. Zadokk 3. That's the floor that has the largest open space, sort of an indoor mini-mall. Also where the movie theatre was, where Theresa and I had our first date. We went to see the lamentable "Men In Tights", one of Mel Brooks worst. Most likely you will be on the air but you never know exactly what time however they will stand you by at least 10 minutes so you can call someone to record it. I feel kind of bad because you took time out of your Labor Day for this and it turned out to be a slow troop. But that's the nature of trooping; sometimes they're slow and sometimes they're overwhelming. However something good may have come out of this, When we were leaving I mentioned to one of the MDA staff they should have us answering the phones in our armor next year. She seemed interested in the idea and I told her I would give them a call.
