I've never played sims 1, but I've just been following the 'see also' links.
"Lethal Guinea Pig Kills Virtual People" - funny!
The articule about Chinese online gaming is interesting. I could do with a hack for the sims to make me take breaks! |

| That guinea pig..I remember how freaked out I was the first time one of my sims died by the guinea pig disease...I was never on any forums or anything, so I had NO idea it could happen...and took me even longer to figure out how to "cure" them! lol

Two kids in a family came down with it at the same time, one got bit, the other infected the other! I remember I bought the highest comfort beds and put a table and chair in their rooms for their meals (buy option to move a plate up to them), and a soda machine outside. It took a couple of days, but they recovered!

| Did you know the guinea pig painting could cure them? I had sims die withing an hour or so after being bit...but if you kept viewing the guinea pig pic, you got cured pretty quick without stress. That's why they put the pic in the game with that poem as a description...can't remember what the poem said now, but it was a clue that it could cure you.

| Lol, thats funny cause none of mine ever died from the Guinea pig i don't think :-S. Mine were lucky, i had no idea you could die from it. |
