It is an expensive kit, but the finished product is worth ten times what you pay(if you can do it justice.)

Impressive build, as it should be, since it took him 2 years to do it!

Doug one of the sci fi modelers in my club has one of these.
Yes, its expensive.
its also HUGE.
AND its Finemolds and in the modeling community that carries a lot of weight.
Now, for the truly big spenders, cast your eyes on this:
this is from Anigrand, I have built thier models before. Not for the inexperienced or casual modeler. and VERY limited. The new SD is limited to 100 copies before the mold wears out. thats a pretty high production run for this type of thing.

I have this kit. I have not started as of yet. I love FM model kits! I am only missing a couple of thier model kits they have put out. I recently recieved my Two 1/72 snow speeders. Talk about details!!!!

i love FM you get what you pay for.
I have some of thier "older" kits, including a desert storm "infantry woman" super deformed kit. her gear is all in scale and quite correct, she is deformed down to just taller than her M16A2. Cute kit, they have certinaly come out with some impressive and well researched subjects.

My only complaint is they only put out about 1 to 2 new SW models a year. But like you said... They are definatly worth it.
