By carrying capacity! Craaaazy!

Serious suggestion:
Food and cold weather outfits go to whoever doesn't have. Alberich brought 20lb of food along from the wreck, so he doesn't need more at present, but he will take a cold weather outfit off one of the dead dwarves. Alberich will also take the masterwork weapons, possibly magical full plate and silver holy symbol along because those are probably the most valuable and because he is Strong (tm) and a Greedy Pack Rat (tm).

I don't suppose anyone else feels like lugging pounds of metal down the mountain for profit? Poke

Additionally, problems such as "(number of cold weather outfits) < (number of living humanoids)" are something Alberich is happy to leave to people with more conscience, while personally noting more relevant things such as "(number of CWOs left by dead dwarves) > (number of CWOs Alberich needs)". People with more conscience can begin suggesting solutions now. Twisted Evil

Edit: Fixed a sign.

Edit: WTF, having a less than sign followed by a greater than sign mangled the post.

Edit: Should be working now.

Malazar might help, although he may have to start fights with dropping his backpack.

Provided the environment isn't going to be a d**k.

So you guys are going to rest until another of the dwarves wakes up? Doing anything noteworthy until then?

Let us scout around somewhat to see anything of note or danger.

Who goes scouting and who stays in the shelter?

I volunteer myself for cosy shelter duty.

Yvonne might want to go scouting, iirc she's stealthy and scoutworthy.

Which means Alberich will probably trip and fall into Drumkit Valley

Yvonne will stay in the shelter ensuring they don't freeze to death, that they stay secure, and keeping the cave warm. And also probably cooking a tasty dinner. She's good at those.

In the time in between such things (Which I suspect are all things that involve a lot of casual waiting-around stuff), she'll start working on the other length of wood she got from the wreck.

Then I guess Malazar will also go scouting, because anyone with actual scouting skills would ruin our perfectly good failing to scout rolls.

There are actual scouting skills?

I thought people just walked around looking for trouble.

staying put, will be easy enough to find trouble without having to wade anywhere, methinks.

I assume a scout needs like hide/ms/spot/listen to function without being Some Bumbling Adventurer rather than an actual scout.

Mm'kay. Shall I forward the action along (or is there something you would like to do before then?)? I would also like the order of watches.

Awrighty. Setting watches is a major problem one faces, given DnD's rules for spellcasters. I've come up with this schedule:
Code:
Hours | Watchers
----------------
 0-2  |   1, 2
 2-4  |   2, 3
 4-6  |   3, 4
 6-8  |   4, 5
 8-10 |   5, 6
10-12 |   6, 7
12-14 |   7, 1

With this, everyone gets 10 hours of sleep in 14 hours of real time. 1, 2, 6 and 7 need 8 hours of sleep. 3, 4 and 5 need 9 hours. Since the first category people have a bit of free time, they can also do their memorization/prayers/whatever without further time loss.

Malazar called 1. What about the rest of you?

Oh, and everyone gets to recover their level in lethal damage, because the party was effectively faffing around all day. This is before the night, that is.

EDL's taking 2, but is prevented from posting.

EDIT: Reiver's taking 7, apparently.

Emma grabs 5, Bob has 6. I will henceforth use this schedule, unless there are significant changes in the team, or somebody wants an alteration.

Code:
Hours | Watchers
----------------
 0-2  |   Malazar, Victor
 2-4  |   Victor, Alberich
 4-6  |   Alberich, Iaunonnen
 6-8  |   Iaunonnen, Emma
 8-10 |   Emma, Bob
10-12 |   Bob, Yvonne
12-14 |   Yvonne, Malazar
