Ofcourse they can. They could also compete, in the case of bounty missions.

Missions don't explicitely list the wage as being '#####cr each' for no reason.

Tarinaky: Purchases approved and under way. Expect them to arrive soonish. Claiming salvage on objects requires that you can move them into controlled space (Either a colony, Station Zero or space that you've claimed for yourself). What you can do is claim it as sovereign territory. That however requires a lot of paperwork.

Fine, the crew can take some leave. It's not like stressing and going on missions intensively in a new galaxy where we still get shot at by pirates seems like a good idea.

Purchases on new ship, Second Inevitable Laughter: VASIMR, tritanium plating, particle shield, kinetic redirection field, gatling laser array, acid projection cannon, power boost, engineering control terminal, ship-wide automatisation, fusion drive reactor, 550cr of iron ore for a heat sink. 12550 cr.
Sold: Chemical thrusters. 50cr.
Remmon has seen a full overview of both ships online, too.

Also, tangentially related topic (It's not a doublepost given the number of hours since my last comment, and that I'm not asking a real question).

What exactly are the displacement values for the smaller ships? Quite possibly up to and including the Light Merchant. This is so, y'know, I can spec things like transporting non-fighter craft inside larger ships.
