It has been my priviledge to serve in 2008 starting as Squad Leader and evolving to Garrison CO as we made the transition to a (Probationary) Garrison. I must also my thank my Command Staff for their support. Ian and Brian, the Star Garrison CO & XO for their guidance during some difficult times and their blessings for Bast Alpha to become a garrison. I am honored to serve as the Bast Alpha Garrison CO for 2009. We're all in this together and wouldn't have it any other way. ps More meetings :)

I must give credit to you all, the members of Louisiana. We really have a great group. We have our bumps from time to time, but that is to be expected. A Garrison Charter will be adopted, and there will be a couple of changes in the command staff. Which I will announce closer to the end of the month. This is due to our own Josh "CooR" Cook will be moving to Cali around mid year. :( I have learned a lot from Josh and his dedication and efforts have been instrumental in the successful growth of the 501st here in Louisiana. Thanks for everything, Josh. : All troopers should know they can PM, email, or call me with any issues, problems or concerns. I will miss Josh as well. He given many of us valuable knowledge that will continue to drive our growth as a Garrison. Most of us knew that he would have to leave eventually due to his CG service and his home town out of state. That is the bad news. The good news is that we will have another friend in CA and another reason to attend Dragoncon.
