I am pleased to announce that the Air Gun section of the Burlington Rifle and Revolver Club has extended an invitation for FT shooters to participate in an informal Practice Day. Targets will be set out along with paper targets to sight your rifles in on. The best part of this is that the air system can be turned off to give still conditions to set your rifle up in. The normal limit of 20 fpe will be kept for all steel targets, but if you have other rifles that may need to be sighted in, you are welcomed to bring them and do so. I will try and make room for a Pistol FT target lane and it will be limited to under 500 fps and 8 fpe for that lane, only. If there is a good turn out, think ahead to a middle of winter shoot, indoors in a renovated, heated (you heard that right) range.

Date: Sunday, May 24th
Time: 8:30 AM (target setup and getting aquainted)
Finish: 12:00 PM (ish)
Address: 1548 King Rd.
Burlington, Ontario
L7T 3K3

King Rd. runs north from Plains Rd. and over the 403. The club is located on King Rd., north of the North Service Rd. at the bend in the road on the west side. There is a fairly large paved parking lot and the ugly yellow and blue bunker, you can't miss (they loved the colours, but to each their own taste, lol).

I will try to remember my chronograph for those that may want to see how their rifles are doing. There may be a nominal cost of a tooney for the club, but that may be waived as there are no targets provided by the club to be re-embursed. Water and coffee will be provided (instant creamer only, sorry) and there are two small vending machines with snacks and pop. Do plan on a visit to Tim Horton's afterwards for those that can. Talk to you all soon.

Just a bump up to remind people of the practice next Sunday at the Burlington Rifle and Revolver club. See you there.
