~Kravail~
The ailing nobleman promptly put his feet down and gave a wet cough. "You haven't changed one bit Kravail. Remind me of Alia sometimes, with your 'I'll chop that off and I'll remove these'. You know, I used to get the guild initiates to wash my feet until recruitment rates hit an all time low..." They sat there in silence for a while, eating breakfast until Hobarth broke the silence.

"You know, I actually might have a job for you. Would you be open to taking a task in the... 'human management' area of work?"

~Krikor~
"These could definately do," Remarked Parval, looking over the wax seals on the scrolls. "Have you got any other clothes? We need to look as outlandish and uneducated as possible."

Bibbles looked to Oryeda "Well.. this is certainly interesting, wonder what all this shouting is about. Lets hang back here for a bit try and pick up what this is about"
The gnome listened for a while seeing if he could pick up who the mob were planning to kill and stone, and why? Bibbles couldnt help think this was an offshoot of the recent murder.

KRIKOR

"Yes, clothes are actually something I have in great abundance,"
Krikor put down the pouch and the spellbook, striding over to the pile of used and extremely-used clothing on the floor. After a brief examination, he selected his only white shirt, speckled with dry, yellowy bits of something that smelled like the contents of a stomach, and a pair of linen pants, dipped in mud about halfway to the knees - and tossed them to Parval. Himself, he discarded his spare robe, instead choosing to parade around just in his trousers - it would be more believable with the illusion he was thinking about.

"Ready?" he glanced over at Parval, retrieving his pouch and spellbook.

“That sounds like a fine idea.” Amair says rising. Extending his left arm, he inquires “Shall we?”

~Bibbles~
"Those mages are everywhere," Muttered a young barmaid, to the agreed murmurs of the mob. "Always causing trouble and panic around 'ere with their spell duels and all." An elderly halfling with a stout walking stick in one hand chimed in. "Back in my days, they knew how to act, those mages. Didn't leave no dead bodies across the streets to make trouble!" From the dozens of similar complaints being echoes across the growing crowd, Bibbles could tell that they were dissatisfied with the slew of recent killings and needing somebody to blame, they had chosen the students at Sharytil University.

"Should help Krikor from this mess shouldn't we?" Inquired Oryeda, pulling her hood over her head and trying to remain inconspicious.

~Krikor~
"Hope you don't mind what I'm doing to your shirt," Said Parval, tearing the cloth into a long strip and wrapping it around his head in a turban. He then put on the stained his trousers and glamered his academy robes to make them resemble the outfits of desert tribesmen, who resided east across the great sea. When he was done, he had a sweeping beard, a rugged sideburn and carried a swag like a wandering vagrant. "Argh, yer ready ter go?"

~Amair~
"You know, people might think we're a couple if we keep doing this," Said Kitala a while later, while holding onto Amair's offered hands. "Maybe we can pretend at the Iterath ball, you know, just to give the others a surprise." They turned a corner, into the main street of the Nexutilar district and noticed a lroaring mass of people behind a whitewashed housing commission block.

Bibbles nodded "That could be an idea yes.. Make sure nobody sees me"
Bibbles hid behind a nearby cart and began casting a spell trying not to be seen by the anti spellcasting mob..
The gnome recited the words to the poem he had set the spell to and sent forth the illusion of a student mage running out the building the mob was outside and off into the streets beyond.

KRIKOR

"Was going to throw it out. Even Prestidigitation can't get the stench out... One moment,"
said Krikor, unfurling another scroll and quietly chanting the required activation words. His features became obscure and melted into each other, recombining into someone of obviously orcish descent, pronounced fangs and heavy brows. His body changed as well, becoming buff and hairy, quite unlike Krikor's lanky form.

"Let's go," Krikor announced in his best basso. He collected the bag and threw the book inside, for fear of it being seen as unlikely to occur that an obviously uneducated physical worker was carrying it. He proceeded to open the door.

~Bibbles~
Fortunately for the gnome, a large barrel concealed him from the crowds and he managed to cast his spell without being noticed by the crowds now baying for a witch-hunt. The last syllable of his incantation was finished and he peered over the top of the cart to see an illusionary image of a student fleeing into one of the non-descript alleyways that seemed to fill Nexutilar.

"Get him!" Roared a young man with a red headband around his spiky hair. The crowd jostled with each other as the people inevitably moved towards Bibbles' illusionary image.

~Krikor~
"Get him!"
A first, Krikor's reactions were to run but as he and Parval looked on, it appeared the mob was slowly dispersing into a nearby alleyway. The few stragglers only took a passing notice of the foreign-looking vagrant and the orcish labourer before too, joining the running mob. As Krikor glanced over near a disused cart and barrel, he caught sight of Oryeda and Bibbles lurking behind the wall.

KRIKOR

"Over there," Krikor grabbed Parval's arm, gesturing at the lurking couple. He was relieved it wasn't them the mob was chasing - whoever it was they were was very unlucky. But with a bit of luck could probably evade the masses in the back alleys. Not worth risking one's own life for, Krikor decided. "My friends are here," he explained, walking over to the two.

"Hey, you two!" he 'greeted' them using his fake voice. "You wouldn' know who they're chasing?"

Disguise: (8+14) = 22.

The gnome chuckled as the mass of people ran after the non existant mage, the very fast non existant mage.
Bibbles saw the two rather outlandish fellows exit the building and watched them approach him and the priestess.

(Not sure what an equal roll means here..)

“I don’t see why no- hello, what do you suppose this is?” Squeezing Kitala’s arm to check her forward pace, Amair viewed the crowd, screaming for Magi blood; go careening into an ally down the street. A second later the Knight saw two figures dart out of a building and down the street. “Shall we go see what is happening?”

~Amair~
"Oh bother, and I don't have my armour and all either." Kitala drew her sword and followed Amair into the main street of Nexutilar where the mage-lynching mob had filed through into a separate alleyway, leaving behind only a few burnt effigies and pieces of graffiti on the whitewashed building commission walls. However, it was the sight of Oryeda and Bibbles conversing with two drifters on the other side of the street that drew Amair's attention. One appeared to be an orcish labourer of some sort while the other appeared to be a blathering bum wrapped in a turban and vomit-stained cloak.

DM: Will save for Amair.

~Yagno~
They had called him the "Petranovich Slasher", or rather, it was what he had dubbed himself. Over the past few months, the being known to the darker powers as Yagno had committed several gruesome murders, mainly the bums and the homeless around the slums of the Nexutilar district. The routine usually went by a midnight abduction, followed by the drugging and dismemberment of the victim in the Slasher's lair, a disused basement that hadn't seen occupancy for at least twenty years. The sheer squallor of the area had made the killings particularlly easy, especially as the city guards didn't patrol the area and those around were far too flustered to care about what happened to a bunch of homeless drifters. Over the last few weeks howevers, things started changing. Homeless people suddenly didn't seem to hang around alone anymore and the people of Nexutilar rarely left home unless in groups. Yagno had no idea what was happening but the bestial aspect, the part of him which drives him to murder and bloodlust was growing increasingly restless. It wanted to be sated. It needed blood. It needed life. It needed murder.

Yagno....Yagno...it is time!Yes...Yes...it is time. Time to release their demons.[i] With that Yagno Petranovich rose from his nightmarish slumber to find Kaz his Imp familar cleaning his butcher blade. Restocking his drug potions and tightning his blood stained silken ropes. Kaz did you say something to me while I slept?[i][b]No Master...No I not speak?

The voices seemed to disturb Yagno more and more after each grizzly death of his assailment. Yango delved in the dark and evil recesses of the deity Cyric. The bringer of lies. Each death that Yagno commited was believed by him to release the evil powers residing in each victum. Releasing the voices...the voices of them. They were so righteous and pure. how he hated them...them and there goodness. It was factual that Yagno was definetly reserving his spot in hell. The more Cyric lied to him the more Yagno believed that he would be at the right hand of Cyric. Yagno did not know this and commited each heinous crime in Cyrics glory. Cyric just wanted followers to be as miserable as he was.

Waking from his slumber Yagno prepared for the nightly execution..adoring his leather armor and fasting his leather execution hood. Kaz perched on Yagno Petranovichs shoulder as he walked out into the midnights eve as his mind raced with thoughts before a new thought appeared. He was certainly paranoid as his eyes darted to and fro. He walked the cobblestone walkways stalking his next victum.

~Yagno~
The streets of Nexutilar were bright this time of day and Yagno recoiled as the stream of light filtered into his hideout. He would have several hours to go until night falls on the City of Scrolls.

~Amair, Krikor, Bibbles, Oryeda, Kitala~
Bibbles didn't recognise Krikor's disguise but the others did and he was surprised when Oryeda slapped the orc over the head. "They're chasing you two and unless you want to be crucified, I recommend getting out of this district now."

KRIKOR

"Gods dammit woman!" Krikor held his palm over the place she slapped him. This time, his voice was clearly his own. "Will you stop slapping me around?"

"I'm in disguise," he grumbled a bit quieter. "I just wanted to say hello or whatnot... But yeah. I'd better be out of here, and my comrade as well," he vaguely gestured at Parval.

Parval smiled weakly at Oryeda, his disguise showing several missing teeth in his mishapen jaw and the priestess stared at him disdainfully. After returning her gaze to Krikor, she tried grabbing the front of his shirt but seeing none, seized the straps of his belt. "I'm doing it for your own good. Now shut up and follow me out."

KRIKOR

Krikor sighed exasperatedly, and followed, half-dragged. "Yeah, yeah. I'm going."
