Sounds like you fellows have been working hard to structure a Pistol FT shoot....
I realize that pistols do present a bit of a challenge in the way of guide lines that keeps everyone onside with the current laws of this country... Over the limits and the pistols move into the Restricted class which limits where and by whom they could be used... The guide lines you fellows laid out will allow for everyone to join in on the fun.... Cool Cool Cool

Thanks and much appreciated.... a_goodjob

I am happy with the result as well.

I want to give a personal thanks to Don. A few of the governors assisted to make the final product what it is, but Don laid the original frame work.

I think Pistol FT will be a welcome addition to the Canadian FT experience.

Thank you, Chris. Also thanks should go out to those shooters that helped with input and for asking if PFT could happen. A round of thank-you's goes to EW. Take care.

What energy level did you have to lower the strike plates to? Or do you have to?

Well done fellows a_goodjobson I like the fact that you have made the playing field even (with power level guidelines) so that almost anyone can join in on the fun.

The paddles on the pistol targets are set to drop with 1.4 fpe, a far cry from what a normal target is set at, which is 5 fpe. They will also withstand a face hit from a 12 fpe rifle when set out. That is the hardest part of the setting. Getting them to drop with low energy is simple, keeping them up when hit with a truck, not so simple.
