|
|
I take my caddy on the dirt sometimes and find the standard tyres a bit limiting.
I'd like to fit 205r15 65 ATs but am not sure whether they will fit without
rubbing, or adverse handling.
There was a prototype car with bigger tyres. It is called the Panamerica, based on the Caddy 4motion but it also seems to have raised suspension (http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2008/09/vw-caddy-panamericana-4wd-study-with.html).
Any suggestions? |

| What profile are the tyres? 215/60 or 215/65? |

215/55/16's Yokohama C Drives. They have the appropriate load rating too! _________________ ---------------------------------------------

Hi guys
Are those tyres you're running around on commercial load rated? Do the tyres on a Caddy Life / Caddy Maxi Life need to be commercially load rated?
Thanks |

| I never really looked into so not sure what a commercial rating is. Caddys have particular speed and load ratings which are shown on the tyre placard on the drivers door. I think there are many tyres for passenger cars that are of the appropriate size and meet the required ratings unlike say a one tonne ute where the offering are more limited. |
