Funny sounds? Flickering lights? I think they just need to step up conservation efforts before the place falls down or burns.

Apparently L. Ron Hubbard, founder of the church of scientology made a baseless claim that he was the nephew of Elbert Hubbard.

I think most people are aware of the shortcomings of Elbert's spiritual and personal writing style. This is a great article and pretty much sums up how the work of the artisans is the key to enjoying the legacy, and not so much the work of Elbert. It also clearly states however that with no Elbert there would have been no Roycrofters.
