I know that it's here somewhere but I can't find the rules on the maximum FPE allowed at the Canadian matches.

Both of you are right, there is no written down rule for a power limit, but the 20 fpe comes from what the match directors allow because of target damage caused by higher power levels. As very old targets are slowly replaced with those that are designed for more power, the possibility of a higher power match grows more likely. The only time that there will be a written power restiction is when Canada hosts the World Championships in the future. Then, it will be limited to 12 fpe at the muzzle, in accordence with the World Field Target Federation imposed limit. That limit, however, is only for World Championship matches and is not a required power level for countries to use. Hope this helps.
