Just a reminder for those who haven't been to any of the weeklies this week, This coming weekly on Sunday is going to be at Falling Creek in Bedford @ 1:30 pm, $2 entry fee. The forecast has the weather on Sunday looking nice, but probably hot. Bring something cold to drink, you'll need it. _________________ those cedars are really getting old |

We had 7 out today at Falling creek for the Sunday Weekly. No aces were hit and the Ace Pot is up to $50. After looking at the long range forecast, I am saying next Sunday is going to be at the Bedford YMCA. I will update later in the week as the weather forecast gets more finalized.
Todays results:
Scottie - 59
Brian J - 59
KP - 61
Jordan - 61
Stuart - 66
Skylar - 70

The weekend rain looks like it may start saturday evening into possibly ending sometime sunday morning. So the ground being wet, I will stay with having the weekly at the Bedford YMCA. I am sure most of you know the brick tee pads at Falling Creek aren't great when wet. If anyone has seen Ryan, pull him out of Sheetz in Forest and steer him towards the Y on sunday. _________________ those cedars are really getting old |

Hopefully, the rain will cooperate. There sounds like a good chance of rain for the scheduled time. Highly likely I will wimp out if it's raining.
Fixed.

Brian, I think a W.O.W intervention is needed. Especially when you said "if the RAID cooperates." _________________ those cedars are really getting old |

Rain tomorrow looks like a crap shoot. Some forecasts have a steady rain all day and others say possible breaks in the showers. So tomorrow is almost a game time decision. Give some feedback on what you guys think if you can before 12-12:30 tomorrow. If its obviouse its pouring down and it isn't letting up anytime soon, it won't happen tomorrow. Right now next sunday looks dry, and we will try Falling Creek next Sunday, April 29th. I am not sure if Skylar follows the board yet or not, so Ben if you read this let him know. I don't want people to go out there and be the only one there. _________________ those cedars are really getting old |

Just looked over the forecast for tomorrow. Rain early in the morning and possibly clearing out between 9am - 10am. If after we all get there and decide the brick tee boxes are too slick, luckily we have the option of the Bedford YMCA or playing on grass at Falling Creek.

Forecast is still looking great for tomorrow, high temps in the low to mid 70's. Hopefully I'll be there earlier tomorrow as opposed to last week. _________________ those cedars are really getting old |

There were 4 club members who made it out today for the Sunday weekly at the Bedford YMCA today. No aces were hit. I lost a day glo yellow Blizzard Champion Katana on hole 17, towards the direction of the retention pond, but that far. It got hung up on a tree branch in that direction. We all looked for a while but no luck. When we got out the crap and out to the grass, we were all covered in ticks in varying degrees. Just before that, Brian stepped on an ant hill and his pant leg was covered by them also. So after out bug attack, I think Falling Creek is going to be where the sunday weekly is going to be thru the summer. If you know what freckles look like on skin, that is what the ticks looked like on my socks. Luckily I had another pair of shoes and socks with me, so I pitched the tick covered socks. Mick doused himself with a whole spray bottle of bug repellant trying to get the ticks off of him. Brian changed shirts. Ticks stayed away from the lefty cheater.

The left cheater was the only one that stayed out of the area since he had shorts on.
The other thing that is getting really bad on some of those holes is the poison ivy. I can't remember the hole numbers. 14 back 4-5 holes. The areas with lots of cabbage in the fairways and rough. Lots of the cabbage is poison ivy.
I'm really glad we don't have fire ants. There must have been 100 or more ants on one leg. Fortunately I was in long pants and very few got under the pants. |

There were 5 out today at Falling Creek. No Aces were hit, but I did get a 3 on hole 18 for the first time. I threw my FLX Z Wasp from about 180 ft or so, left of the basket, and it went in. I was just trying to get it close.

Same place next Sunday as far as I know now. One long range forecast says sunny and mid 70's & another one says 40% chance of rain. _________________ those cedars are really getting old |
