Startled by the words spoken behind her she turns and takes a step instintively behind Chritopher. She can feel the evil roll of this being that just entered the bell tower. Not knowing why for sure she holds onto the back of Christopher feeling true fear for the first time in her life and wanting to be protected by him.

[Dezonus]

The Phantom Knight Turns his head away, almost as if he was about to cry.

"I guess...acceptance.....is one thing that I can never receive"

He is about to walk down the steps, when he realises, what about the man with wings. Perhaps he might accept him, for afterall, Though this man would be affraid of him, he may be able to understand that it is not something The Phantom Knight wants, or has controll over.

The Phantom Knight turns to this man, looking down to be sure that the man cannot look him in the eye and asks
"And what of you? Can you see past the fear? Or are you just like her, and everybody else throughout time, and cannot see past the feeling?"

William wakes, it is around noon he guessed. He headed outside and seen everyone running in fear. He just figured a new figure is in town and everyone feared him. He then set off for his smith. When he arrived he sensed something was wrong. He entered the smith with weapon drawn.
"I guess you seen that I didn't wait until opening." A strange voice said.
"Oh its you. Thought someone was robbing me."
"Just came to check on how far you've gotten on the gear."
"Well its finished. If you want i'll deliver it to you."
"Sure go to caverton, and i'll meet you in the middle of town with your payment."

William went and grabbed 5 things of rope, tied all the gear up and set it outside. He then locked up the smith, took the gear, and flew south out of town. After a 2 hours he made it to Caverton. He landed in the middle of town.
"Demon your a fool to come here!" A townsman said.
"I'm here with some buisness with the Warriors guild." William stated as he seen a person from the warriors guild. "Heres your gear, wheres the rest of my payment?"
"Right here." He said as handing William 15,000 gold.
"You've payed me 5,000 gold more than what you should."
"Thats for delivering all that here."
"Thanks and if you all need any more gear just come find me." William said as he flew back. This time the flight only took him 30 minutes.
As he landed in middle of town, he was shocked to see the town still a little jumpy from the new figure in town.

He went back to Death's Smith and opened up again. He then took the rest of the day to make custom weapons. As he closed up again he had 3 steel long swords that could cut through metal and 2 steel spears that were so light that William could throw them 100 yards and still have the same force as if they were thrown from 1 yard away. Satisfied with those he decided he would make more weapons like that more often. He then went and hunted some dinner out of the forest. When he arrived back he went straight to bed satisfied with today's earnings.

"I have been roaming this world for thousands of years.. Ive come across many like you. I fear you not. As long as you harm not, you have my respect, sir knight." Said Christopher, spreading his wings a bit to make Robin's uneasiness subside.
"I may not be armed, but i will be watching you while you stay in this town. If you need refuge, you may stay here at this Cathedral. This town is a place of peace..."

Christopher had witnessed this kind of thing before. Though it was a long time ago since he had last seen a 'ghost', they were very much alive like he was. The ones Christopher incountered in the past where a little less friendly.

"It is good to hear that thou can stand in my presence, without being filled with fear" said The Phantom Knight "You are the first in but a million years who has been able to do so. But I belive that you are mistaken about one thing. I, am no ghost, for I am not dead. True, I can pass between the realms of life and death, but even in death I am not dead. I am Phantom Kinght Zyth Veriaan, last of the Phantom Lords"

The words "Phantom lords" seem to echo endlessly. Zyth seems to examine the man with wings and the woman, before speaking again

"Strange," says Zyth "You seem to be of both dark and light nature. You, Cristopher, are a Vampiric Angel, such I have never seen before."

Zyth turns to the woman "And you too, Robin, are also very odd. For you are of both Demon and Human, perhaps even more odd than Christopher."

Zyth turns back to Christopher "I seek not to harm anyone, for that is not my intention. Unfortanatly, my mear pressence is enough to send even a priest into peril. I know how my pressence works, for my gave is enough to scare people to literal death. Even the non living cannot put asside the fear, as you see by the painting. For in looking into my eyes, you see what scares you most, your ultimate fear. And for that reason, I try to avert my gaze."

Zyth seems to stand there, as if he were a statue gazing out to the horizon. He then looks at Christopher

"You can look into my eyes if you want. It is not a wise idea, but some seem to want to see their nightmares. If not, then I must be going, I must see if their is others like you, who are not afriad."

Listen to him speak some of fear is covered by her curosity. She looks around Christopher not comming out complete but just enough to see the Phantom better. As he metions her painting she looks at it as is astonded how something she made that was of the country side but moments ago now looks so utterly devastated.

timedly still holding onto Christopher she speaks

"Is there no way for you to mask your presence as I do my demon half? For I normall would not fear someone unless they were threatening me but your presence is too overwhelming and I can do nothing but fear you."

She takes a step out from behind Christopher to show that she is trying to overcome the fear she feels comming from him

[Deus]

Christopher was caught off guard by the sweet caress of Robin behind him. Her touch was inviting, and he couldnt help but embrace her back slightly. There was a connection there, though Christopher was unable to put his finger on exactly what kind. After all, she was part demon, and christopher was an angel.

Christopher shook his head, as if to shake off this feeling, and looked deep into the phantoms eyes.
"I am unaffected by your aura. Being a rare breed of Angel as you stated, i have a strong immunity to fear."
He then hears robin speak of changing the phantoms form. This gives Christopher an idea.

"I can help you." Said Christopher reluctantly.

Christphers abilities were vast. Not only being able to change a crused figure back to its orginal shape, but he also had the ability to mask a beast of natures appearance. Especially those that might seem, or are frightning. He didnt normally do this for people, but in the presence of Robin, his true kindness seem to come out. It was rare in the past that Christopher actually took pity on the supernatural, as it were to humans, after all he was a retired demon slayer of sorts.

Christopher waited intently for the phantom's reply.

Zyth hears Robin speak, the words seem to echo in his mind.
"I believe," he says "that this is something that is, at least at the moment, not possible. You, Robin, can hide your Demonic pressence, as it is a part of you, you can control it. But this pressence of fear that I have...it was not allways a part of me, it came later. I understand that you are probably confused, so I will try to explain, right from the beginning."

Zyth pauses for a moment, as if recalling the events of the past

"About 3 million years ago, Creatures of darkness from the Underlord, and Creatures of light from the Overlord, ruled the land and the sky. The Overlord had few creations, but the most significant one was angels. The Underlord, however, had many. I have not seen or heard of most of them, but I know in my time there were Demons, Vampires, Phantoms, and us Phantom lords. The Phantoms were mad before us, most people called them Reapers."
"One day, the Reapers started killing angels. This made the Overlord mad, and so he sent what are known as predecessors to eliminate every reaper in existance. Within a matter of hours, all of the reapers, which was millions might I add, were obliterated."
"Hundreds of years later, a Phantom Lord accidentally struck an Angel. We heard that the Predecessors would come and wipe us all out. Nobody believed it, but I, however, saw the possibility for it. One night, in a dream, we all saw it happen, that they came and killed us all. I thought that this must be a warning from the Underlord, so I announced that I would go into hiding. None of the others joined me, they thought I was a fool."
"Now, when a Phantom Lord goes into hiding, they dont just hide in the cupboard. We die for a few hundred years, and then wake up as if we've just awoken from a long sleep. When I awoke, I found a Demonic Vampire, and asked him if it had happened. He told me that the Prdecessors had come, and killed all the Phantom Lords, but they knew there was still one left. He said they would keep looking until they found me. I told him they can only find me if I am fully alive, so I went back into hiding. Every three-hundred years, I would ask him, and he would tell me that they are still looking. Every time I would be more and more afraid."
"After a million years of hiding, he told me that they had given up. But he seemed to stutter his words, as if he had just seen death itself. I asked him why, and he told me that because I was so afraid for so long, that I carry fear around with me, like a curse. I asked him if there was any way to get rid of it, and he told me that he did not think so."

Zyth pauses again

"And that is why I carry fear around with me. And for two million years after that, I have been looking for a way to rid me of this curse, but have not found it yet..."

Christopher shook his head, as if to shake off this feeling, and looked deep into Zyth's eyes.

Zyth had a way of seeing what the other saw, but Christopher seemed to see nothing

"I can help you." Said Christopher reluctantly.

"Christopher, I realise that you have done this sort of thing before, but I fear that this is perhaps beyond you"

As she listens to Christophers offer and then to Zyth's story she feels sympathy toward him for it truly is not his fault. She also feels joy in hearing that Christopher may be able to help she had feared, only slightly and deep down but it was still their that he was not truly sympathetic toward anyone and only protected this town since it was neutrul.

She smiles and hopes that she may have found a true friend in Christopher and would truly be able to stay here. She then realizes that the evening has slipped in while they had been here and she quickly moves to her things.

"I'll leave you boys here to figure out what can be done I have to get home for School starts early and children can be taxing to one without sleep." She heads to the stairs then turns and looks at Christopher
"I'll return tomarrow and we can set a time for our trip into the mountains for I would still love to paint them from your view point."

with that she runs down the stairs and heads home

The moments her heads hits her pillow she closes her eyes dreams. Her anticpation to spending time with Christopher was greater then she realized for her dreams where of him and spending days togther in quiet areas her painting him watching. His mear presence brings joy to her heart. She rolls over in her sleep and a smile forms on her lips while she rests peacefully.

but deep inside her, yet unaware, being so near the phantom has awaken her demon blood that she long ago thought she had under full control. Once it awakens completely the Robin that this town knows and the smileing face will be replaced by that of the demon fox, that loves to only hunt. Robin was able to keep it under control and asleep for she was always surrounded by love and there was nothing near that sturred her blood, but the precense of Zyth has stirred it to the point that it is starting to crave the fear he gave off.

[Deus]

"Not much is beyond my skill. Unfortunatly i am not able to change your state of being, but im able to mask your visably self from humans at least. The halflings like myself and Robin are still able to see you for what you are, but humans will be none the wiser."

Christopher was sure he could make it work, though he had never tried it on phantoms before, he had faith. To him, faith was everything. Being a servent of god at one point, allowed him some unique training, as well as thurough training. Chances are, no one other than another arch angel would be able to do the things he could do.

Zyth listened to what Deus had to say. He played it back in his mind sevral times before he spoke again.

"So what you're saying, is that you cannot void me of this pressence of fear, only mask it for the humans? If so, then that is not what I want. I want you to see if you can seperate me from the fear...can you try that?"

[Deus]

"I can try, but i cannot promise i will succeed. The incantations I know will need to be modified, but if this is something you feel desperate about, then i will truely put my best foot forward. However, if this is to be attempted, we must do it away from this town... Come see me again when the moon is full, 2 nights from now. And be prepared for anything."

Christopher turned around and with a flap of his wings he was airborn. This would be a true test of his skill as a healer. As much as he hated to admit it, he was more of a fighter... A demon slayer.
Christopher had to get his energy up, and though he didnt like doing it, he would have to feed. So alas, he was off to the slaughter for tonight. Hoping he would be seen.

He landed in a clearly a good distance from the town. Sniffing the air for a moment and looking around, he quickly found mustang tracks leading to the ridge near town. They were fresh, and he would have to be quick about it. Deciding to stay to the ground, to avoid being seen, he began making persuit.
After a short time, he stoped again and sniffed the air. It was close now, he thought to himself, as a small rustle in the trees caught him off guard. The mustang jumped out and hoisted its front end into the air, kicking its hooves and neighing loudly. Christopher merely stayed still and waited for the horse to calm down. Eventually it did, enough for christopher to pet it. This was the part that christopher hated. Chistopher repositioned himself to the side of the horse, still petting the horse, christopher moved in closer. Closer... closer.
Christophers fangs shot out and sunk into the horses kneck. Though it wasnt human blood, it was still blood. Enough to quench the thirst for a short while. The horse didnt move, it was almost as if he accepted it freely. Slowly the horse began to sway, until it crashed to the ground. Christopher stood and watched the horse barely breathing, blood dripping from his mouth and fangs pinching his lower lip. Wiping off his mouth and retracting his fangs, he knelt down by the horse and pet him softly.
"Sorry my friend..." Said Christopher, hanging his head in shame.
He stayed next to the horse until it was gone. Then Christopher stood up and flew off toward town. He would welcome the day he didnt have to do this any longer.

Christopher had left Zyth with words of possible hope. Soon enough, he thought, he may be able to walk the streets without people fleeing for their lives. Though he knew he could have had that sooner, he thought it was pointless having it that only humans couldn't see the fear.

Zyth decided to save some time, so he Jumped out of the bell tower. It was a fair fall, but falling does no harm to a phantom lord.

Zyth walked to the center of town. He had no place to stay, but he need not rest, as he had laid dormant for a hundred years. Nobody dared walk into the open, for the fear was too overwelming. Zyth was surprised that someone could not feel the fear, but confused by the fact that Robin could. Zyth thought it best to not speak with robin again, until he had this pressence removed.

Zyth wondered, however, if there were any others that could stand in his pressence. He walked around town a bit, and found a place called "Death Smiths". He studied the sign, and learnt that a dragon or similar creature ran the place. Perhaps he, or she for that matter, might not fear him. He entered, but could not see anyone.

"Hello?" Zyth called out "Is anyone here?"

Zyth waited to see if anyone would respond.
