Last year we saw several peeps in SW bed sheet ones. I was told the Band Grand Moff Tarkin will not be playing again anytime soon, but the girls will be at Dragon Con. That's great considering this is a mostly male dominated hobby. I can't wait to see the gals. It was a great time, I now the boyz had an awesome time and I look forward to hearing thier stories as we were all over the place. As for me, saw friends from past cons and meet new ones, even meet the trooper who was here before me who is also in the military and was trying to get a squad going in LA, but got shipped out overseas before either happened. (Hi Robert if you're reading this aka DarthVader1) I also worked the 501st table for a total of 6 hours and had another wonderful time doing so, gave away tons of MG beads. I got in on the 501st pic (Where's in the pic is TK-0398?), almost just barely though, and walked the parade. I didn't get any autographes, put did see a few stars. The 501st mixer was kewl, the Georgia Garrison bought shots and it got wild. I volenteered and escorted Mr. Allston and Mr. Stackpole to the Cantina Ball and was event a "scavenger hunt item" as the Scotish / Kilted trooper that no one found and I was all over the con. Also did some decent patch trading and got a few new 501st cards from my trading buddies and from meeting new troopers. Didn't really buy a whole lot, but pics to come of what I did bring home. I even played wrangler for Gary, Jhon and Dave, who I know, had a great time being in armor taking pics on Friday night. We saw some awesome costumes! All and all, another great Dragon Con. Hopefully for 2008, BAS will repersent even more than this year. Lauren and I are already thinking of ideas and making a game plan.
