I'd like to come take pictures of the group during the parade. Would there be any problems or issues with that?

If I dont hear R2-Q5 and BOUNTYCHIC by 12pm today, 02 Dec 09...then the 2 slots will be given up for WRANGLERS only. Please post your reply here on the forum.
Sorry...I forgot to make space for at least 2 wranglers.
Also, the maximum is only for 20 people for this event. But I will ask the parade folks on 03 Dec 09...if we can have a couple more spaces due to needing 2 wranglers...without being charged extra $$.

NOTE:
The BR CHRISTMAS PARADE starts at 4:30 pm...so I would be safe to say that we should be forming up between 1:00 to 2:00 pm...at the earliest. So that gives everyone plenty of time to park. (Since the parade stars near I-10 and ends at the State Capital...then we will have to look into carpooling. I will ask the parade folks tomorrow on where we can park. I also ask if they have any shuttles to transport ppl to and from their cars.)
Mind you, the parade is less than 2 miles. This is NOT a typical Mardi Gras parade, so we should be moving through the parade at a normal pace.
We should be done with the parade by 7:00 to 8:00 pm...depending on what our parade line # is...so this is going to be a long day.

i just checked the five year weather trend. 63*F high with no rain. This event takes place just as the sun is dropping and so will the temp, and it is right next to the Missisippi. I left work yesterday and the wind was blowing in off the river and it was flat frigid, so take that in mind when dressing.
Parking...hopefully the event orgaizers can shed some light on the best place for entrants to park.

I generally park in the garage next to the River Center or the one across from the Shaw Center, depending on where I'm going. The River Center lot would be close to the start point, but we'd need to find some places closer to the end so we can car pool back. Lets see what they say at the meeting and then decide from there.
