new glove find but wont be around for long

Dewka Bast Alpha Garrison GML Officer Joined: 01 Jan 2008 Posts: 2121 : Location: Watson LA Items	Posted: Mon Feb 08, 2010 8:53 pm    Post subject: new glove find but wont be around for long   I ran across some gloves last week purely by accident, and decided to go for it and purchase them. they are grey leather horsemanship gloves and are very well made and look fantastic, Good price as well I had planned to use these with my ATAT as I am unhappy with the grey welders gloves which are very bulky and shed like a mangy dog. Even stripping out the interior lining and stitching the fingers tigheter (that was a chore) has not improved those gloves much. So today I get the grey leather gloves from Glove Guys. I posted this over at the ACD and Jumpin'Joe inquried witht he company: they will no longer pursue this line of gloves and will soon clear them out. So, what I got a was a realy nice set of grey gloves, that wont be around for long. These will work well with other costumes and I plan to wear them with my ATAT at non canon events as well as my impending door gunner. The reason I will not wear them at canon event is the gloves are not light grey but rather medium grey like a suede leather jacket. Graet color, just not right for an ATAT driver at a canon event. they have a great embroidered black velvet storage sack, like a Crown sack on steriods. www.gloveguys.com _________________ Dewka (also known as David by a few Terrans)
