it is finally up on the innova website.

Classification: Distance Driver
Diameter: 21.2cm
Weight Range: 170 to 175 grams
Brief Description:The XCaliber is for those who have got to have the biggest and the baddest. Extremely fast with glide and stability. This is the one for confident bombs in windy conditions.
Available Plastics: Star
Best Choice for: Serious power players. Maximum Distance. Long hyzers. Headwind drives. Sidearm shots for distance. Advanced players looking for a stable, wind fighting distance disc.

About the XCaliber
The XCaliber is for those who have got to have the biggest and the baddest. Extremely fast with glide and stability. This is the one for confident bombs in windy conditions. The XCaliber has the stability to let the biggest arms throw with full power. If you have a cannon for an arm, you'll want an XCaliber. Great disc for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power. Can handle headwinds and throws with off axis torque. Definitely not designed for beginning players.

I bought one, and another Destroyer, and another Buzzz, and another Banger. Should be in next week. I wasn't gonna get one, and then they had a white one, and it was the right weight, and well, I guess you know what happened next. That's right, Mike Barnett from Sun King came and personally twisted my arm until I typed in my credit card number. Very painful i assure you. KP

Let me know if you are interested.
Consider trades too.

oh and i was throwing around earlier today, and noticed some drastic similarities in flight path, with a very very slight difference in stability, between my surge and old mold beast. upon looking at the rims, dang it if i can't find any striking differences when eyeballing it. anybody w/ higher knowledge have some thoughts on that?

there are a few discs that innova and discraft and other companies make that are bascilly the same, just one may have less or more dome, or the angle of the lip may be at a slighter angle.
know what i mean

Patrick, you already have a free Surge coming to you for helping with the Randolph gig. It has the stamp too. I will make sure you get the lime one. John, Ultra-grip is a small rubberized thumbpad on the top (flight plate) of the disc. It appears to be somewhat removable, and though I haven't yet tried one, feels like it would be overkill for a backhand shot. On the flip side (pun intended) that small patch might make for a killer tommy or roller grip. I will bring one tomorrow. KP

JFarm, I think if you hold up your Surge and your Beast that you will notice the rim section of the Surge is wider than that of the Beast, and that the leading edge of the Surge is slightly sharper. Subtle differences make for highly contrasting flights. KP

speaking of rims and flightpaths, how would you compare the force to the destroyer?

Here's how they are the same. As knowledgeable disc golfers, we would anticipate that a lighter disc would be more understable, and that a heavier one would be more overstable. Forces and Destroyers take that theory and laugh at it. My flippiest Destroyer is a 175 star, and it might make a fine backhand roller. I bought 2 Forces when they first came out, and the lighter (170) orange one was so stupid stable that I either gave it or traded it to Patrick. I literally had no use for a disc that wanted to fade that hard. It made a Destroyer look like a Wolf. Now, the 175 white Force is a more practical animal. I kept it, but not throwing a lot of Discraft drivers has relegated it to the shelf. I won a 168 lime ESP Force this weekend, and I might try it out. Daniel liked the color, so it might end up with him. We'll see. If you want to throw one, let me know, I have lots. KP

thanks KP, appreciate it. that force i got from you i used it as trade to get a champ monster and a champ rhyno. it might be more useful if i played a lot more open courses. might have been a good thumber disc maybe. i have teerex-x for that though.
