Hi Rene,

The first thing that catches my eye is those upper exhaust chambers appear to be MUCH longer (and much greater volume) than the lower ones. Seems a bit strange to me. Confused

Hi Don,

I think it's a optical thing , the down pipes turn underneath the engine and the front cilinders are high so the pipes are quit long at the begin, so i think the volume is the same.

I do hope you will be fitting some right-way-up forks??
Otherwise it looks quite good? How come we can't see the bodywork?

Hi René,

If you want, I can contact Boet van Dulmens mechanicer in those days. Maybe he can tell you something more.

On the pictures you can see a red bottle with "SO" on it.
That means "Stamsnijder - Olde Junnick"
Andre Stamsnijder was a welknown rider in the (Inter)national 250cc championship in the Netherlands. Andre Stamsnijders has now his business with suspension of all kinds for motorcycles.
visit: http://www.so-products.com/ . Today he was invited for a parade at the Historic GP Eext in Holland: http://www.gpeext.nl/2009/

The Van Dulman Barclay bike in your pictures is mine - so if you need any help with the transfers or stickers I may already have some from my rebuild.
Pictures are really hard to find of the original bike as it was only used in Barclays colours for 2 Races - Spa & Assen before the sponsorship ended & the bike was then repainted before being sold at the end of the season

This Van Dulman bike was the actual bike Boet used & his mechanics confirmed the motor & frame at Spa this year - the motor cylinders still have BvD engraved on them by the mechanic from when they used to be repaired and sent away - to make surte the same ones came back as they are a bit trick & XR copies - I may also be able to help on some RGB500 Mk7/8 spares later this year.

Steve,

Can you tell us more about this type ??
I heard from Steve Griffith you must be the RG(B) doctor/specialist Very Happy Very Happy
Do you know Year-type etc ??

Thanks in advance,

René Very Happy
