The Red Wings have been pretty shrewd in the Entry Draft over the years too.

They snagged Pavel Datsyuk 171st overall in '98 and Henrik Zetterberg 210th overall in '99.

hockey stick

A composite hockey stick might be better but would be rather expensive for playing road hockey.

What about using a plastic blade? It wouldn't wear down or scrape off like a wooden blade.

You might find a suitable stick option at www.puckhound.com.

Tampa seems close to a playoff spot, I am wondering what you guys think of their team's chances making the playoffs? I see an up and down in team with a lot of question marks. Sure they all get hot at the same time, but does anyone see a realistic chance? Thanks-Mark

I cant wait for the reg season to start. Im pumped just seeing pre season getting under way. I got tickets for the Detroit and Toronto game Oct 1 at the ACC.

What is your playoff pool strategy?

Since i haven't gotten to see much of the playoffs. I was pinning my hopes on the Sharks and Canucks in the West, and Bruins and Caps in the East. 3 out of 4 wasn't bad.
