Where can I go to study the paranormal (UFOs in particular) in a legitimate University? I have always been interested in the unknown, and I do believe in the plausibility of Alien life out there. I would like to approach from a scientific angle with the necessary education. Where can I go to study this?

How do I shoot the UFO in Animal Crossing City Folk with the slingshot? After a year of playing the game I saw a UFO flying overhead about a month ago. I had no idea what it was then, but have since learned that I can shoot at it with the slingshot. I heard it and saw its shadow on the ground the other day but it moved too fast. I wasn't able to get the slingshot out in time. How do I get it?

Is there a way I can get internet for my computer if it doesnt have a router? I have a computer downstairs that does not have internet. Can i get a modem that would connect to my computer's router upstairs and give my computer internet?

How Come People Say That Self-Competitor Games Like Bowling And Golf Are Not Sports? I always used to hear people say this through high school, because I played in my school's bowling and golf teams, that those are not "real sports". I never got why people said that. Bowling and golf are considered officially sports by sports' associations.

What was that cartoon show that had a guy, a girl and a caveman fighting supernatural beings? I know it's Johnny something...but I'm not so sure. it's when they go to some Agency that transports them around the place to fight off ghosts, monsters etc. They once had to go fight a Siren in Norway. I need to know the cartoon. They also had an alien named billy floating around on a mini UFO.

How many alien aircraft sighting reports will it take to convince some people about UFO's? Iraq was invaded and destroyed for allegedly developing nuclear arms and nearly the entire world believed it. None was found. Now it is said that UFO's exist and they have pictures and videos to prove it. And some people find THIS hard to believe.

I've got 2; a Panasonic and an Olympus. I don't think I paid more than $60 or $70 for either one of them, and I've had great luck getting EVPs with both. They both can be connected to the computer via USB, which makes it very easy to download audio files.

The misperception of Angels

I was recently reading a book by a local (to Georgia) paranormal celeb. Now I am not going to name names but at the very least I found his book troubling. He is supposedly a researcher and many of his theories were in my opinion, flawed. One of his theories is that angels are everywhere waiting for us to need them. to come to us in our time of aid. This is the sole purpose for their existance. To help the humans. Now I know alot of what he is saying is based on faith and spirituality and I am not saying there are no such things. To tell you the truth I personally do not know, and I think it fits into paranormal research perfectly. However, even if based on faith, to say that they are strictly here to help us in our time of need is incorrect. If he is indeed basing his theories on christian beliefs then he would have to know that one third of all angels fell from heaven. One of those was Satan himself. According to the christian faith these angels fell because of either jealousy of God's love of humans or just outright challenging God's authority. I don't really think these particular angels are out there to help us. Then there are those that are impartial to us. The Archangels would be a good example. They do not do what they do to benefit us. They do it because it is God's will. And from what I understand when it becomes God's will to smite us, well they are the ones that do the deed. So really they are soldiers following orders and could not care about us one way or the other. Of course I am by far no expert on the subject but from what I was taught this is the way I understood it. Anyone else have an opinion?

When do you or your group deem a place haunted

That's a tough one. I don't know if anyone can ever conclusively say a location is haunted. We would have to deliberate this type of decision very carefully and only deem a place haunted if there was strong evidence to suggest this. To put it in legal terms, I believe a preponderance of the evidence would be necessary to make such a statement. By strong evidence, I mean some of the following would have to have been found during an investigation:

Video or photography of an apparition or some sort of anomaly that cannot be explained after a thorough review

Voices on audio that are clearly not that of the investigators or anyone else present-definite EVPs

Major personal experiences such as witnessing an apparition, seeing shadows, being touched, smells that come come & go with no logical explanation, etc.

Sensitives that are able to validate information given by the client in the form of names, dates, descriptions of people, when there was no possible way that they could have known it before the start of the investigation, etc.

Of course, some clients might want to know if their place was haunted, but may not want others to have this information. We would obviously respect their privacy.
