The Officer nodded and let the car through, undoing some of the strips to ward people off in the process. The car parks safely adjacent to the house, and people have begun to clear away from the site in order to let you do whatever it is you do, unless you call them to aid you or similar.

As you open the doors you notice the grass looks quite scorched but was too wet to set aflame, but was trimmed down somewhat even this close to the pavement. The air smells cold and brisk, with ever so minor but unmistakable scent of ashes hanging upon the air like a funeral shroud.
